![]() Plus Jumpstart has had HORRIBLE management for years - some of it definitely from NetDragon. The only game they might've been getting money from was NeoPets, and NetDragon had taken it. Once the game was legally transferred from Jumpstart to NetDragon, they decided to shut the company down because it was not making any money for itself OR NetDragon.įor YEARS they kept putting money towards School of Dragons more than the game could make, and I'm sure Magic and Mythies and MathBlaster was making ZERO revenue. So they bought Jumpstart with the only intention to get NeoPets from them. Jumpstart used to have a game called NeoPets that NetDragon wanted. To answer the singleplayer part is that not only school of dragons shut down, the whole COMPANY that ran school of dragons - Jumpstart - has closed down, so they couldn't have done anything to save the game UNLESS some other company had taken the game from Jumpstart and it's new mother company, NetDragon. I know it's not coming back, but if they could have found a way to make it single player and something that you had to buy initially like most other games it might have been better for the company with less lag and still kept the seasonal events and all the fun mini-games. RIP to a great game and all the years so many people had to enjoy it. I'm sure my younger family members will miss the "break the boat" dragon game to. Despite the lag, random invisible walls, and glitches were over half the quest videos would ether not work or crash my game I will miss it.
